Tips for Cheap Travel

-Try to do as much of the arranging yourself! No need to pay someone else and you know what you like best, after all!

-Look on Trip Advisor for cheap deals on hotels, Favorite local restaurants, favorite local attractions, and reviews of them all.

-No vacancy in hotels or not wanting to spend an arm and a leg? Check out Airbnb and book a stay in someone’s home, in a treehouse, or some other unique lodging for some really hard to beat prices!

-Bring your own food. You don’t have to necessarily eat in all the time if you don’t want to, but you save so much money if you go to a local store and grab some food and make it yourself!

-Google as much as you can about the place you’re visiting. Tons of cities, especially larger ones, offer a lot of free and cheap activities like concerts and movies in the park, museums, zoos, and festivals.

-Plan ahead. Pick the activities you’re interested and then Browse the web for the local transportation to plan a route for the daily activities. Take the city bus/train, they’re much cheaper than a taxi or taking your own vehicle.

-Pack lightly, that way, you have room for souvenirs and you don’t have to pay any extra fees or take up extra space.

-Not sure where to go? Try looking for the cheapest flights and researching about the city it takes you to. If it’s low cost and interesting, try it out!

-Set a budget for all of your necessities and stick to it. Spend so much on entertainment, lodging, travel, food, and spending money and don’t go over.

Some Tips to Get Freebies!

I’m not going to make you read some long, intricate story about freebies and why you should get them. Instead, I’m going to get right to it!

1.) The very first thing that you will want to do is make a throwaway e-mail address. Signing up for a lot of freebies will equal a TON of e-mails and going through them is no fun.

2.) Some sites that compile lists of freebies that update everyday are Vonbeau and Hunt4freebies. I suggest checking these a couple of times a day!

3.) For Gift cards, my favorite website to use is Crowdtap. It’s a fun little site where you can easily earn Amazon gift cards at your own pace. Everyone is able to participate in the activities, no taking half of a 30 minute quiz and not being qualified.

4.) Instant win games! These are great, I’ve won a lot from these! If you don’t win, keep trying everyday! I like to use Freebie Shark!

5.) Influenster! Now, with this one, you will want to use your legitimate e-mail address as they will send you short list surveys if you’re being considered for a box. Here, you will need to connect all of your social media, ask and answer questions, review products, and be active to receive a box of free products to review! They often send food, makeup, and skincare!

6.) Free magazines! I use Reward Survey! Complete one short survey and get rewarded with points to choose magazines that you love. I also love Recycle Bank where you can complete a series of activities to pick out rewards that include magazines and other random products.

7.) Tobacco companies. Even if you don’t smoke, tobacco companies give out a lot of free samples of products that everyone can enjoy. I recommend Grizzly, Marlboro, Black n mild, and Camel. Sign up and get tons of rewards and often gifts on birthdays and holidays!

8.) For parents with newborns and infants that could use free formula and coupons along with that, sign up for Enfamil Family Beginnings. They send a huge box full of free formula and high value coupons.

9.) Tampons, pads, and pantyliners. Googling “Free samples” with Kotex, TENA, and Poise will usually yield you free samples of feminine hygiene products.

10.) Freecycle is a site where you can sign up for a group that contains people who are giving away free things from their home in your area. There are a lot of great finds. Craigslist also has a free section, as does the Facebook marketplace!

That’s all for now but more will be added once I find more or figure out what I missed!

Tim Horton’s Coffee Review From Influenster

I received a voxbox from Influenster, for free for testing purposes not too long ago. I have to admit, this stuff is great. It came with 12 K-Cups, plenty enough to get me through the week, free of cost. The aroma was amazing, taking over my whole apartment, making me feel like I just walked into the Tim Hortons around the corner as the smell of fresh beans wafted through the air. When it was done, I filled it up with cream and sugar and took my first sip. My tastebuds were delighted as soon as the coffee hit my tongue. It wasn’t too strong but not too watery and light like some coffee tends to be. It was fresh, as if I had just ground up the beans myself. Overall, it was an amazing flavor and I wouldn’t mind buying them again!
